Cancellation Policy

We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In our desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honoured:

24 hour advance notice is required when cancelling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment.

If you are unable to give us 24 hours advance notice you will be charged the full amount of your appointment, however, if you need to cancel your appointment at short notice because of Covid-19 related symptoms, a long-term medical condition which varies from day to day, then we shall discuss the cost implications on a case by case basis.

Late Arrivals

If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session.

Covid-19

If a treatment is cancelled or deferred at short notice because the client has Covid-19 or has any of the symptoms of Covid-19, any standard cancellation fees will be waivered.  The client will be asked to kindly confirm in writing that their appointment has been canclled or deferred because they have Covid-19 or symptoms of Covid-19.

I am happy to be contacted to discuss any aspect of your treatment during this time.  Please contact me by clicking this link.
